Real Estate Meta Language is an XML vocabulary describing people, properties, and locations in the real estate industry.

Introduction


The Real Estate Meta Language (REMETAL) is an XML vocabulary to describe real estate properties, locations, and people. This vocabulary is open for use by businesses, professionals, and the public for displaying disseminating residential properties on the web, print, syndication, and other outputs.

REMETAL will become the de facto language for describing real property globally and virtually.

REMETAL is pronounced ree-metal.

Use Cases


  • An agent lists a new property in an MLS system.
  • A for sale by owner publishes their house for sale using flyers.
  • A brokerage needs to retrieve its listings from a database for a client.
